Let’s Walk Minnesota

Let’s Walk Minnesota: Clinical-Community Linkages Grant is a funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Arthritis Program. The objective is to “build awareness about arthritis and promotes the benefits of walking for people who experience joint pain or are diagnosed with arthritis.”

Rochester Clinic is proud to be a recipient of the grant and partner with Lotus Health Foundation, Arthritis Foundation Walk with Ease, Walk With a Doc, and Move with the Mayor. Besides screening for our patients, we will collaborate with community partners to host events in which we will screen for physical activity and provide fall risk assessments.
